Big Bend Ranch State Park
Our second trip back to Big Bend Ranch State Park, one of our favorite backcountry camping destinations and easily one of the best state parks Texas has to offer. It’s extremely remote, generally unforgiving, and potentially difficult. The campsite for this trip was a 2 hour drive down a 4×4 road and our AWD SUV just barely made it.
For the next trip I think we’ll be looking at doing some dispersed camping in the park.
