Manti-La Sal National Forest
Rented a small cabin out in the Manti-La Sal National Forest during our Moab trip. Unfortunately didn’t get to do a whole lot in La Sal during our stay as most of our focus was on Moab, but we’ll definitely be returning.
Word of advice, if you’re traveling to Moab, stay in La Sal. It’s at a higher elevation and a lot cooler than downtown Moab, usually by about 10-20 degrees.
One thing we did manage to do while in La Sal was drive my impractical car up a forest road as far as it would go and then climb up the nearest peak we could find.
